RETAIL SEASONAL SALES ASSOCIATE

Position Summary

Sales Associates help with basic operational and transactional functions to keep our stores game day ready! Responsibilities include:

  • engaging with customers to enhance their shopping experience and help meet their shopping needs
  • merchandising product to keep the sales floor organized and appealing
  • assisting at the cash register

 Sales Associates also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the Store Management Team (i.e. housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, fold merchandise, etc.).

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop relationships with customers
  • Customer Service: Ensures that the customer remains the top priority

KEY HOLDER / TEAM LEADER

Position Summary

Team Sales Leads / Key Holders help in setting the company's selling standards and providing coaching and direction to Sales Associates. They are in charge of keeping the sales floor presentable and delegating daily projects to Sales Associates. Team Sales Leads must be focused, nurturing, have the ability to train others, enthusiastic attitude and be detail orientated. They will assist the Store Manager in Operations. (i.e. returns, defects, transfers, action memos, direct all activities required to achieve store goals, including sales objectives, customer service, mentoring and retention of sales staff, and loss prevention, and merchandising). 

 Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop and direct the sales team 
  • Recruiting: Proven ability to interview, select and develop sales team

STORE MANAGER

Position Summary

Store Managers direct all activities required to achieve all store goals including sales objectives, customer service, employee relations management, payroll and operating expenses, ensuring loss prevention and executing merchandise presentations. The Store Managers are responsible for forecasting their store's sales projections, staffing their store for success, and managing their payroll for maximum profitability. Store Managers are also responsible for recruiting and identifying key associates, as well as training and developing these key associates for further advancements in their careers with Garnet & Gold. The Store Managers will be responsible for organizing, game-planning and executing floor moves and merchandising to ensure proper exposure and maximum opportunities for merchandise to be sold. Overall the main responsibility is to ensure that all company policy and procedures are understood and practiced to make sure the store is game day ready.

eCOMMERCE MARKETPLACE SPECIALIST

Position Summary

Garnet & Gold is seeking a reliable self-starter for an e-Commerce Marketplace Specialist position, who has the passion and hands on experience in managing and growing a business in the various digital marketplaces such as Garnet & Gold’s proprietary e-commerce site, Amazon, and eBay.  We are looking for a communicative individual with an interest in the management of product data, combined with technology applied to eCommerce. The individual must have solid Microsoft Excel abilities and great interpersonal skills. We are growing at a fast pace and are looking for an ambitious team member to join us and help build our online presence.

If you are experienced with online shopping, either as a customer or a seller, and can navigate websites and programs seamlessly, this position will keep you engaged through your ability to recommend and drive changes.

Duties and Responsibilities

Fullfilment + Customer Service

  • Ensure the timely completion of all eCommerce tasks. Most importantly, that all customer orders are picked, packed and shipped, accurately and without damage, as soon as possible. 
  • Recommend and implement best practices to drive inefficiencies, for your team to ensure proper steps in fulfilling a customer order.
  • Ability to lead a team of individuals, delegate tasks, and supervise all the functions that occur in this department.
  • Ability to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the E-commerce staff
  • Work to ensure consistency and optimal customer experience thru online order fulfillment.
  • Regularly inspecting and ensuring the maintenance of all E-commerce equipment and machinery
  • Communicate with customers appropriately via email and handle discounts, exchanges on damaged items, etc.
  • Lead the eCommerce department identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and provide an improved customer experience.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to troubleshoot problems with the customer experience and execute against enhancement opportunities.
  • Answer general customer inquiries via email, phone, chat, social media, including but not limited to returns, missing package claims, processing orders, shipping information, coupon adjustments, stores inquiries, follow up until inquiry is closed. 
  • Assist customers with missing or lost packages opening claims with UPS or USPS as needed.
  • Review orders daily for possible store assignment issues for fulfillment, customer address issues, and potential fraud.
  • Proficiently use ShipStation to fulfill e-commerce orders.
  • Manage customer accounts including assisting customers with information regarding their order history, returned shipments, order status, and all other standard requests received by website and stores.
  • Communicate with Stores to ensure timely fulfillment of e-commerce and store concierge orders.

Inventory + Product

  • Manage, maintain and optimize product listing:  taxonomy, descriptions, inventory and pricing.
  • Optimize product find ability which will increase conversion and streamline the use shopping experience.
  • Enhance product descriptions while ensuring SEO best practices are being adhered to.
  • Proofing loads and ensuring correct product attributions for all items.
  • Work within e-commerce system admin dashboard to access client and order information.
  • Work with Operations to address and resolve issues.
  • Assist with technical support with website problems, including talking customer through any difficulties, placing orders on behalf of customer when necessary and notifying Operations of recurring technical issues.
  • Launching product as well as overseeing new product postings.
  • Updating product to ensure content is in line with current trends .
  • Identifying product trends on sales channels.
  • Product selections – Help build product selections/categorize product.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / DELIVERY DRIVER

Position Summary

Garnet & Gold is seeking a three-quarter to full time, Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to be responsible for shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of merchandise goods to our Tallahassee stores. The job of Warehouse/ Delivery Driver was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities of transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; and loading and unloading orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safely driving the most efficient route to proper destination, while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures.
  • Participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of merchandise goods including supplies and ensures shipments are prepared for delivery and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Retrieve stock and non-stock items from the stores and ensures quantity and quality of transfer memos are correct.
  • Organize and pull warehouse products for distribution to stores and ecommerce.
  • Know location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep all materials organized and put away.
  • Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
  • Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, air pressure, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle.
  • Maintain presentable vehicle appearance, cleaning as needed.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
  • Respond to inquiries of staff and provides information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries, etc.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

Special Requirements

  • MUST a valid and unrestricted FL State Driver's License and have a good motor vehicle driving record
  • Maintain a positive attitude. Display attention to detail, and accuracy with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • This position is required to perform basic math; understand written procedures, write routine documents, and speak clearly; and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions.
  • Specific knowledge required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job includes: basic computer use, basic vehicle maintenance, and safety practices and procedures.
