Retail Seasonal Sales Associates

Position Summary

Sales Associates help with basic operational and transactional functions to keep our stores game day ready! Responsibilities include:

  • engaging with customers to enhance their shopping experience and help meet their shopping needs
  • merchandising product to keep the sales floor organized and appealing
  • assisting at the cash register

 Sales Associates also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the Store Management Team (i.e. housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, fold merchandise, etc.).

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop relationships with customers
  • Customer Service: Ensures that the customer remains the top priority
  • Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize and move merchandise, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain within guidelines
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error. Ability to prepare deposit as necessary. Captures accurate information for all transactions including signatures, addresses, and original receipt data
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with Customers, Members of Management, and Store Associates
  • Flexibility: Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

  • Retail clothing experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be sales focused, exude high energy, and have an outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • May be asked to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Key Holder / Team Sales Lead

Position Summary

Team Sales Leads / Key Holders help in setting the company's selling standards and providing coaching and direction to Sales Associates. They are in charge of keeping the sales floor presentable and delegating daily projects to Sales Associates. Team Sales Leads must be focused, nurturing, have the ability to train others, enthusiastic attitude and be detail orientated. They will assist the Store Manager in Operations. (i.e. returns, defects, transfers, action memos, direct all activities required to achieve store goals, including sales objectives, customer service, mentoring and retention of sales staff, and loss prevention, and merchandising). 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop and direct the sales team 
  • Recruiting: Proven ability to interview, select and develop sales team 
  • Customer Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the customer remains the top priority 
  • Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines and follow-up on all activities within the store 
  • Leadership: Proven ability to challenge, motivate, and drive the team's results 
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and substitute within guidelines 
  • Communication: Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to store team, Operations Managers, District Manager, Corporate Office and Store Associates 

 Qualifications 

  • 1-2 years of retail clothing experience 
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills 
  • Training and Coaching experience 
  • Enthusiastic attitude, outgoing 
  • May be asked to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Store Manager

Position Summary

Store Managers direct all activities required to achieve all store goals including sales objectives, customer service, employee relations management, payroll and operating expenses, ensuring loss prevention and executing merchandise presentations. The Store Managers are responsible for forecasting their store's sales projections, staffing their store for success, and managing their payroll for maximum profitability. Store Managers are also responsible for recruiting and identifying key associates, as well as training and developing these key associates for further advancements in their careers with Garnet & Gold. The Store Managers will be responsible for organizing, game-planning and executing floor moves and merchandising to ensure proper exposure and maximum opportunities for merchandise to be sold. Overall the main responsibility is to ensure that all company policy and procedures are understood and practiced to make sure the store is game day ready. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and substitute within guidelines
  • Communication: Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to store team, Operations Managers, District Manager, Corporate Office and Store Associates

 

Qualifications

  •  2-5 years in a store management position coaching and developing others
  • Experience in specialty clothing retail
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Training and Coaching experience required\
  • Enthusiastic attitude, outgoing
