Order and Payment Options

Order Online
Don’t shop till you drop…go SURFING instead! Begin by browsing our extensive collection of Seminole merchandise. When you see something you like, click the “ADD TO CART” button. This will take you to your shopping cart to see the item you just ordered. Click “CONTINUE SHOPPING” and you will be taken back to the merchandise pages. You may add or remove any items from the cart at any time prior to checking out. Once you have made your selections, completed all billing and shipping information and made a payment selection, click “SUBMIT ORDER”. At this time, you will be given a reference number to confirm the order. If you choose to pay by sending a check or money order, your order WILL NOT be processed until receipt of payment.

Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You can safely enter your credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Our retail system is based on SSL 120 bit encryption standard. As long as you use an SSL-compliant browser such as Netscape’s Navigator or Microsoft’s Explorer, you will be able to conduct end-to-end encrypted transactions without fear of anyone obtaining your credit card information. 

Gift Cards
Having trouble choosing the right gift? Send a Garnet & Gold Gift Card. We will send it via First Class mail in a special gift package that includes a copy of our current catalog and a brief personal message. Gift cards may be used for catalog mail orders or in any of our retail stores. There is no shipping charge for this item. When using the gift card online, please put the last seven numbers of the gift card in the comment shipping box when checking out.

Shipping
We are shocked at the rising costs for shipping. We have studied catalogs from other companies and our competitors. Some of them, but not all, inflate the cost of the item so that they can offer lower shipping. Either way, you pay for it. For the most part, we are not having any price increases, but the opposite, as we buy in larger quantities and order earlier to beat the cotton increases.

Presently we use UPS almost exclusively, mainly because of the tracking capability. We know where your package is all the time, and you do too if you received the tracking number from their system.

However, what you don’t see are the surcharges. There is a fuel surcharge, a rural surcharge, and a residential surcharge. Also, they do not normally deliver on Saturday (another surcharge). All of these nearly double the cost of our basic shipping.

We will use more of the Post Office. From now on, if you order something under 13 ounces, like a couple of t-shirts, the new shipping charge will be $4.99 which is about our cost. Decals that fit in a business envelope will be free. If items can be shipped cheaper, they will. We will never use shipping for revenue as many companies do.

We tried the Post Office for shipping last year as an experiment. Of over 2000 packages shipped, we only had 3 that were not delivered or stolen. Not bad.

Our shipping costs will come down dramatically. No longer will you order a hat or a tee and pay $7.50 (UPS minimum) for the shipping. This change may not always show up when you order, but the shipping will be adjusted as it is charged, and it is not charged until it is shipped.

We are certainly open to your suggestions. Email me directly at gmoore@garnetandgold.com if you have ideas. We are the only locally owned FSU store in Tallahassee. I realize you can buy from other sources, but ask them how many FSU students they employ and how many student and Booster charities they support. We are honored that you chose us and we will not knowingly disappoint you.

Tracking Order
You will receive an email when your order has shipped. At that time, you will receive a UPS tracking number for your order. You can use this number to track the package(s) online at http://www.ups.com while en route to its final destination. If it is easier for you, please feel free to contact us and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to help you check on the status of your order.

In Store Pick Up
Traveling to Tallahassee? Pick up your online purchase at any of our retail locations. When placing your order, simply let us know which store you would like the order delivered in the “SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS” section. There is no shipping charge for this option.

Size Chart
How do I figure out what size I will need for apparel items? Use the size chart below for an estimate of size conversions. Please note the Nike products do tend to be oversized.

 

Return Policy
We unconditionally guarantee all merchandise we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with your order we will gladly exchange or refund any item within 30 days of the purchase date provided it is in the original condition. We cannot accept for return any item that shows signs of wear, except in cases of manufacturer’s defects. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable and return freight must be prepaid.

For your protection, return the product insured via United Parcel Service(UPS) or U.S. Mail. Purchaser is responsible for additional shipping charges on exchanges and returns. Please do not send items C.O.D., they will not be accepted.

3. Upon receipt of package, per your instructions we will promptly exchange the item or issue a refund by original method of payment.

Sales Tax
7.5% sales tax will be charged only on orders shipped within the state of Florida.
